Summary
editDescriptionOn the Bridleway from Bulbourne to Marsworth - geograph.org.uk - 1412495.jpg |
English: On the Bridleway from Bulbourne to Marsworth This bridleway (reference MW10) runs between high hedges for most of its way and was a sheltered sun-trap and paradise for butterflies when visited in July. For much of its length it runs alongside the College Lake Nature Reserve. The route is well maintained but appears to be little used possibly because long-distance walkers would find the route along the Grand Union Canal towpath more attractive, while any horse riders using it would have to use the busy B488 and B489 roads. |
