In center-frame is a lightly paved loop of a path that leads up to the right towards a civil war statue of a soldier facing to the right. There is a paved road visible on the far right. On the left are some boulders. There is a sea of tall trees in the distance ahead.

The cannons of Smith's Battery have been removed and the paths in this area will be removed as part of the overall Devil's Den rehabilitation project.
