| Description |
English: Once double track Looking towards Axminster this was once the double track LSWR mainline from Waterloo leading west via Exeter to North Devon, North Cornwall and Plymouth via Okehampton.Now a single line west of Salisbury at least some investment is taking place and a loop is being installed at Axminster ready for the new timetable which starts December 2009. This will mean a more intensive service will be available. Shame the line was singled in the mid 60s in the first place. |
