English: Opel 12.3 liter (750 cui) racing car Grünes Monster (“green moster”), made in 1914. Inline-four engine, four valves per cylinder, 260 HP, top speed 228 kph / 142 mph (in the 1920s, driven by Carl Jörns, who later said he never maxed out the car, and thought it capable of some 250 kph / 155 mph.
Detail: Rear axle and differential.
