English: There will be plenty of smoke to contend with in the Puget Sound Area this weekend, no rain, and lots of warmth. Although, not as warm as first thought.

Some clouds and cooler air overnight mean we’ll see highs in the mid-80s this afternoon, warming to the upper 80s on Sunday. We’ll stay in the upper 80s Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, before we believe the ridge of high pressure overhead shifts east of the Cascades. That will allow cooler air to come into Western Washington from the coast, and means afternoon highs will be closer to where they normally are around here.

That “no rain” record of 51 days? We’ll tie it Monday, beat it Tuesday, and at this point, shatter it well into the coming week.

As long as the fires don’t get worse up north, expect some of the smokiness to begin to clear the first of the week. By the end of the week…again assuming the fires don’t get worse…we’re back to blue skies around here."
