The illustrations also appear in the 1940 edition of Organisationsbuch der NSDAP, the official Nazi party handbook, published by Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter-Partei. Reichsorganisationsamt (The National Organization Office of the National Socialist German Workers' Party) under its leader Robert Ley (1890–1945, Reichsorganisationsleiter, head of the party organization). The publishing organization was dissolved in 1945.
