| Description |
English: Original Carmarthen Town Station This is all that remains of the original Carmarthen Town Station opened by the Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway in 1865. At the time it was said to be more convenient for the town than the South Wales Railway's station at Myrtle Hill. It closed in 1902 when the current station was opened by the Great Western Railway. Some of the platform still exists on the opposite side of the building. The site is now mainly used for car parking. |
