Description
English: The Duncan Coat of Arms - Officially recorded and currently documented in Rietstap Armorial General. The original description is as follows:

“gules, a chevron or, between two cinquefoils in chief, and a hunting horn in base argent garnished azure,”

When translated the blazon also desrribes the original colours of the duncan arms as:

“Red; a gold Chevron; between two blue cinquefoils in upper third; and a silver hunting horn in base, garnished blue.”

Above the shield and helmet is the crest which is described as: a ship under sail.”
