Summary edit

Description
English: This was the first lodge building built by the Elks Naval Lodge No. 353 in port Angeles who by the mid-1910s was one of the largest Elks lodges in Western Washington with nearly 500 members. Designed by leading Aberdeen architect George B. Reid, the cornerstone was laid on Sunday October 14, 1915 and the hall was offically dedicated on March 9, 1916. The Elks built their new lodge in 1927 on property they owned next door and the old hall was rented to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. It is currently the headquarters of the Independent Bible Church.
