Description
English: Venetian “osella” (commemorative medal with the value of a gold quarter ducat). Gold, minted in 1765, year 3 of Alvise IV Mocenigo's government. The inscriptions commemorates doge Francesco Morosini (in latin, "Maurocenus"), "il Peloponnesiaco", "still alive".
Français : « Osella » (médaille commémorative de la valeur d'un quart de ducat en or) vénitienne. Or, frappé en 1765, l'an 3 du gouvernement d'Alvise IV Mocenigo.
