| Description | Yesterday I drove to nearby Maquoit Bay and entered the boat launch area. I was about to open the door and out the drivers window about 30 feet away, perched on a rock, was this osprey with its recently, still flopping, fish. The light was very contrasty and this is the best I could do to fix it up in Lightroom. I took a number of additional photos and eventually it flew away. The other photo is not in focus but very dramatic with the large fish clamped in its talons as it flies away. |
