Description
English: The plexiglas and aluminum enclosed shelter on the New York City-bound platform as seen from the Croton-Harmon and Poughkeeepsie-bound platform of the Ossining Metro-North Railroad station on the Metro-North Hudson Line in the Village of Ossining, New York. Another plexiglas and aluminum shelter also exists on the Poughkeepsie-bound platform. Behind the local tracks of the Grand Central-bound platform is the Harbor Square Luxury Apartment complex along Westerly Road. Evidently the use of the station as a hub for the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry has attracted upscale development to replace the now dead industrial development along the river.
