Description
Deutsch: Naturschutzgebiet „Ostufer Steinhuder Meer“ (NSG HA 030): Dieser Steg führt vom Wanderweg zu einem Beobachtungsturm, von dem man den Uferbereich mit der Verlandungszone sehen kann. Eine Informationstafel gibt Auskunft über das stegbegleitende Gewässer: „Vor über 100 Jahren haben Menschen einen Kanal in den Sumpf gegraben. Über diesen Kanal wurden früher Torfsoden mit Torfkähnen nach Steinhude gefahren und dort als Brennmaterial verwendet. Auf dem Bodenaushub verläuft heute der Weg zum Beobachtungsturm.“ Im Graben fällt ein dichter Bewuchs mit Drachenwurz (Calla palustris) auf.
