According to Charles Stirton, this is a prostrate shrub with spreading branches. Young shoots densely hairy. Leaves, erect, semi-conduplicate, sparsely hairy below, glabrous above. Flowers white. Standard scarcely reflexed, white with mid-purple blotch and two white nectar patches. Infructescences elongated in fruit. Stipules appressed and as long as petiole. Colonial resprouter. Voucher specimen: Stirton & Muasya 14325 (BOL). Growing in old mature limestone fynbos.
