Description
English: This image depicts our earth deposited on the cutting edge of a razor blade. The scanning electron microscopy image is magnified 3000-fold. The same microscope was used to directly write the sketch of our planet. A magnetic north- and southpole is present, because the material of the structure is iron.
Deutsch: Dieses Bild zeigt unsere Erde auf der Schneide einer Rasierklinge. Die Rasterelektronenmikroskop Aufnahme ist 3000-fach vergrößert. Um das Schema unseres Planetens auf die dreidimensionale Oberfläche direkt zu schreiben wurde das gleiche Mikroskop verwendet. Weil die Struktur aus Eisen ist, weist sie sowohl einen magnetischen Nord- als auch Südpol auf.
