Image title | Kulaley village is18kms from Wajir town, 300 households, Close to half of the families in the village arrived in the last three months. There’s been no rain for two years and the shallow wells have been dry for five.
WASDA (Oxfam partner) did emergency destocking in March, which means they bought about100 goats at a decent market price, slaughtered them and gave them back to the community. WASDA is also WFP’s distributing partner (monthly) but coverage is only 40% of the village. |
