Description

Nueva York (Estados Unidos).- El presidente de la República, Daniel Noboa Azin, acompañó a la comunidad ecuatoriana que vive en Nueva York al tradicional Desfile Ecuatoriano, evento organizado esta mañana, 4 de agosto de 2024, por el Comité Cívico Ecuatoriano de Nueva York. Más de 20 carros alegóricos recorrieron 17 cuadras dentro del distrito de Queens, y asistieron miles de compatriotas. El desfile conmemora el 10 de agosto de 1809 y es parte de la agenda cultural que desarrolla el comité cívico por el “Mes de la Herencia Ecuatoriana 2024”. El Jefe de Estado, para dar inicio al recorrido, cortó la cinta y caminó junto a la comunidad ecuatoriana migrante hasta la tarima para apreciar las comparsas folklóricas alusivas a la cultura de Ecuador.
