Nederlands: Paardenmarkt 1, hoek Koningsweg, Advocaten Schenkeveld. Rijksmonument. De opening van Open Monumentendag (OMD) 2000. Gebouwd in 1887. Tot 1973 de Rijks Hogere Burgerschool (RHBS), met links de conciërgewoning, Koningsweg 91 en rechts het gymnastieklokaal. In 1981 gerestaureerd en deels gesloopt tot kantoor Advocaten Schenkeveld. De gymnastiekzaal aan de Schoolstraat, hoek Gedempte Nieuwesloot 54, voorheen gemeenteschool nr. 5, een school voor onvermogenden met gym uit rond 1860, in 1924-1925 geheel verbouwd tot gymzaal, werd na 1970 een deel van een brandweerkazerne en werd in 1983 gesloopt.
