Description El Pabellón Real (en el lado este de la Plaza Mayor de Salamanca) se llama así por estar consagrado a la monarquía, encima de su arco principal puede verse una placa con la inscripción de su fundación. Este aro está flanqueado por los medallones de los monarcas reinantes en ese momento; Felipe V e Isabel de Farnesio. La placa está debajo de la figura de San Fernando, patrón de la monarquía española con los atributos del globo terráqueo y la espada, y el escudo con los símbolos de Castilla y de León
