| Description |
English: Pack Horse Road stone #6, Marsden. Counting from the New Hey Road end, this is the sixth stone of originally nine inscribed "P. H. ROAD" (I couldn't find any more- must look again!). These were erected by Marsden UDC c.1907 as part of improvements to the path that sparked off a court case brought by the Lord of the Manor in which the right-of-way was established but the erection of the stones was deemed to be a trespass.
