Description
Čeština: Pacoldova vápenka je bývalý průmyslový areál v Praze-Velké Chuchli v její západní části při silnici do Slivence. Je pojmenovaná po svém konstruktérovi, kterým byl profesor České techniky v Praze Jiří Pacold (1834-1907). Pacoldův patent umožňoval zpracovávat netříděný vápenec. Jako unikátní technická stavba je vápenka chráněna jako kulturní památka České republiky.
English: Pacold's lime kiln is a former industrial complex in Prague-Velká Chuchle in its western part on the road to Slivenec. It is named after its designer, who was a professor of Czech Technology in Prague Jiří Pacold (1834-1907). Pacold's patent enabled the processing of unsorted limestone. As a unique technical building, the lime kiln is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
