Summary edit

Description
English: Paddling a narrow cleft below St. Abbs Head There are several narrow zawns and clefts between stacks on the northernmost tip of St. Abbs Head, some of which can be quite unnerving to paddle through if there is any swell. Sea kayaks are the only way of exploring the bottom of these cliffs, with their wheeling birds and other wildlife. Here Ann Jones, on a Swaledale Outdoor Club trip, paddles inwards towards the photographer who is in waters sheltered by a group of stacks.
