celadon glaze. Painted Punchong type. Joseon period, 15th-16th c. H. 26 cm. British Museum. Bold application of white slip provided greater freedom for the application of painted decoration.
Français : Jarre peinte type buncheong. Grès et revêtement d’engobe blanc, décor de fleurs à l’oxyde de fer brun sous glaçure céladon. Période Joseon, 15e - 16e siècle. H. 26 cm. British Museum. Les céramiques peintes à la brosse sont caractérisées par des motifs audacieux, avec des coups de pinceau rapides et vifs qui franchissent souvent les limites entre les bandes de décoration.
