Description
Español: Patio principal de la casa-palacio. Antonio del Águila, alcaide del lugar, promueve el edificio con la compra del solar. Hernando de Güemes, cántabro, maestro de cantería y residente en Ciudad Rodrigo, inicia las obras exteriores (1530). El obispo, Antonio del Águila impulsa la obra. Juan de Güemes, hijo de Hernando, continúa las obras, sin descartar los proyectos de Pedro de Ibarra que frecuenta visitas a la localidad. En 1558 el patio es concluido.
