Français : Autres titres : Archevêché. Description : Le nouveau Palais épiscopal est érigé en 1844-1845 pour l'évêque de Québec selon les plans de Thomas Baillairgé. Sa façade à trois étages en pierre de taille donne alors sur la rue des Parloirs et comporte un avant-corps en saillie surmonté d'un fronton et d'une coupole ou lanterne. La pierre présente divers aspects et des moulures en pierre encadrent les ouvertures qui sont cintrées au rez-de-chaussée. Un balcon découpé dans l'appareil du mur surplombe le portique d'entrée. L'édifice a été allongé dans sa partie ouest peu après sa construction. Un incendie à la fin des années 1880 a affecté la toiture et fait disparaître la coupole. L'édifice est décoré d'une façade latérale en 1904 avec balcons et colonnes pour l'amélioration du paysage urbain et le coup d'œil qu'il projette du côté du fleuve , les plans sont de François-Xavier Berlinguet et de René Pamphile Lemay.
