Summary edit

Description
English: The East German regime built this congress hall on the site of the former Stadtschloss (palace of the Kings of Prussia). The Palast der Republik is now (2008) being demolished as the Stadtschloss would be rebuilt on the site. The television tower was another East German prestige project.
