Picture 3 of 3 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Figaro Went to Portabello Road antiques market last year. Walking back to the Tube station nearby I saw this and thought it too good to miss. The car is a Nissan Figaro. It's a modern retro. The design won an award in 1989 and the prize was for 10000 cars to be built for sale in Japan. Not sure but think they drive on the left like we do so some 10000 extra cars were built and shipped to us for well-to-do housewives to use as city runabouts. They are still popular and when my daughter went looking fo one in good condition the lowest price she could find one for was £2900 ( c $5K ) so you could say both were holding their value quite well. |
