Description
Čeština: Památník obětem světových válek, Husovo náměstí, Hostivice, okr. Praha-západ. Odhalený v r. 1922, podle návrhu sochaře E. Kodeta. Znázorňuje padlého praporečníka, nad nímž klečí modlící se matka a stojí truchlící žena se sirotky. K seznamu 46 obětí na zadní straně památníku přibyla jména 6 obětí okupace v letech 1939-1945.
English: Memorial to victims of the World Wars, Husovo square, Hostivice, Prague-West District. Revealed in 1922. Design by sculptor E. Kodet. Depicts the fallen standard-bearer over which the mother kneels praying and stand grieving woman with orphans. To the list of 46 victims at the back of the monument the names of 6 victims of the occupation in 1939-1945 were added.
