Description
Nederlands: Executies te Maastricht van de negen personen die samenzwoeren om Maastricht aan de Spanjaarden te verraden, 1638. Op een schavot wordt Claude de la Court gevierendeeld en zijn vrouw Angenes van Bovry onthoofd op 30 april 1638. In de hoeken portretten van de vier Roomse geestelijken die bij het complot betrokken waren en in juli onthoofd zijn. Bovenaan leggen de negen samenzweerders een eed af op de bijbel. Onder de prent is een tekst gedrukt van 3 kolommen met een legenda van de veroordeelden A-I. Collectie Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, RP-P-OB-81.429.
