Description
Español: Ana Acevedo tenía 19 años y tres hijos cuando le diagnosticaron cáncer de mandíbula. Durante los 13 meses que duró la enfermedad los médicos del hospital Iturraspe de la ciudad de Santa Fe no atacaron el cáncer. Ana estaba embarazada de dos semanas y le prohibieron la quimoterapia para proteger al feto. Su mamá, Norma Cuevas, pidió un aborto terapéutico para salvar a su hija. Los médicos lo negaron. Su moral les impedía poner en riesgo a un feto, pero estuvieron de acuerdo en dejar agonizar hasta la muerte a una joven sólo para mantener las convicciones. Dijeron que Ana y su beba iban a vivir y mintieron. La beba murió al día siguiente y Ana una semana después.
