The largish building at left is the Post Edwards Building, a slice of which remains (as of 2019) across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. Hotel sign says "Hotel New Vendome". Toward the right is a sign "Hotel Newport" which (according to the 1912 Baist maps) was a small hotel on First Avenue one building north of Union Street. |
