English: Paraphysomonas is a common genus of bacterivorous flagellate (two bacteria lie near the longer flagellum). A whole cell is shown. It has two flagella, one is short and without obvious embellishments, the other is longer and gives rise to stiff hairs. The body of the cell is coated in open-mesh scales.
