Summary edit
DescriptionParceval Hall from Simons' Seat - geograph.org.uk - 656383.jpg |
English: Parceval Hall from Simons' Seat The Hall dates back to at least 1584. It was originally a farmhouse, but had been extended into a hall before the 20th century. Between the wars it was restored and extended, the attractive gardens were laid out at the same time.
The hall is a 'retreat' owned by the Diocese of Bradford with the gardens open to the public and famed for their displays of rhododendrons. |
