Summary
editDescriptionParham Model Flying Club site - geograph.org.uk - 1186733.jpg |
English: Parham Model Flying Club site The road running corner to corner is part of the perimeter track of Parham Airfield, also known as Framlingham, built in WW2 and mainly used by B17 Flying Fortresses. The little road running to the left (west) is all that is left of one of the main runways. I'm told the wood in the top left corner, with a major access road, housed the bomb store.
This photo was taken with a Flycam 1 version 2 on my model glider. Another model can be seen being recovered from the middle of the flying patch by its owner. |
