Description |
English: Statue of a youth with Phrygian cap, identified as Paris. Marble, Roman copy from the 2nd century AD after a Greek original. Found by Gavin Hamilton at Villa Adriana in Tivoli, 1769.
Français : Statue de jeune homme au bonnet phrygien, identifié comme Pâris. Marbre, copie romaine du IIe siècle ap. J.-C. d'après d'un original grec, un écho d'une création du IVe siècle av. J.-C., sans doute un bronze réalisé par le peintre et sculpteur Euphranor au milieu du siècle. Découvert par Gavin Hamilton à la Villa Hadriana, près de Tivoli, en 1769. |
