| Description | Pequeno bosque plantado em 1880 por ordem de João Carlos Ulrich no sentido de embelezar o seu Palácio da Feiteira, o hoje chamado Parque Silva Porto, ou Mata de Benfica, foi adquirido em 1911 por César Augusto de Figueiredo que o ofereceu à Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, com a condição de ser acessível a todos os cidadãos. Situa-se na freguesia de Benfica, mais propriamente no Bairro de Santa Cruz e tem uma área de quatro hectares. Deve o seu nome ao pintor António Francisco Ferreira da Silva, que adotou o nome da cidade onde nasceu (Silva Porto, Angola). Existe uma piscina desativada, que dará lugar a dois campos de padel, um parque infantil com rampa de acesso, parque de merendas, parque aventura (Benfica Extreme Adventure Park - BX), equipamentos de ginástica, um lago, alguns bebedouros e um wc público. É um importante espaço de lazer, um autêntico pulmão dentro da cidade de Lisboa, cuja entrada principal, um grande portão, se situa no fim da emblemática Avenida Grão Vasco, com início quase em frente da igreja, a partir da Estrada da Benfica <a href="https://lifecooler.com/artigo/atividades/parque-silva-porto-mata-de-benfica/306051" rel="noreferrer nofollow">lifecooler.com/artigo/atividades/parque-silva-porto-mata-...</a> |
