Español: Vista del Parque arqueológico de las murallas meriníes. Algeciras, Andalucía, España. Se observa en la parte inferior de la imagen la barbacana del foso, a continuación la liza y el paseo peatonal actual. En la parte superior a la izquierda tres estructuras destinadas a la exposición de bolaños procedentes de la excavación y correspondientes al asedio de 1342. A continuación restos arquitectónicos descontextualizados localizados durante las excavaciones y zona no excavada que muestra la secuencia estratigráfica del yacimiento. En el centro aparecen los restos de una de las torres no reconstruida durante la puesta en valor del parque con el objetivo de mostrar el método utilizado para la destrucción de las murallas en 1379. A la derecha de la torre aparece la muralla y el muro de argamasa de función desconocida. |
