Description

O Parque da Cidade é uma área de lazer por excelência, com um mirante sobre o vale, um anfiteatro ao ar livre, áreas relvadas, parque infantil e parque de jogos. Foi criado no âmbito do projecto de Requalificação Paisagística das Margens do Rio Simão, permitindo a reaproximação da população a esta linha de água.

Pela sua localização privilegiada, na confluência entre área urbana e área florestal, e pela sua estreita relação com o rio, o Parque da Cidade constitui um local propício à abordagem de temáticas relacionadas com a preservação do Ambiente, constituindo também uma porta de entrada para as Serras de Santa Justa e Pias. <a href="http://www.valongoambiental.com/index.php?section=49" rel="nofollow">www.valongoambiental.com/index.php?section=49</a>
