Amplos relvados e inúmeras árvores e arbustos, bem como a presença de um lago e cascata, convidam a um passeio pela rede de caminhos que percorre toda a área, encontrando na zona mais elevada uma ampla vista sobre a cidade. Este Parque dispõe de um conjunto de equipamentos lúdicos e desportivos destinados a várias faixas etárias da população, como restaurante, parque de merendas, parque infantil, pista de skate, ringue de patinagem e circuito de manutenção.
