English: Parson's Park Pit Taken from close to a surviving chimney, this is a view across the disturbed land of the disused operation. In the foreground is an overgrown tip. The lake beyond has filled the former claypit. Although it's possible they are hidden by foliage and the contours of the land, many of the traces of the clay works visible on satellite images, such as settling tanks, seem to have been removed. |
