Description
English: Looking west inside fare control in the wide mezzanine of the Parsons Boulevard IND station, at Hillside Avenue between Parsons Boulevard and 153rd Street in Jamaica, Queens. Many Independent Subway System mezzanines were overbuilt in this manner, but few of them retain their size today. Pictured is a fenced-off area on the south side of the station, which may be a passageway outside fare control.
