La decisión de nombrar el paso bajo nivel fue realizada por votación vecinal, en la que participaron 60.000 vecinos. El túnel fue embellecido artísticamente con reproducciones de 30 tapas de álbumes de distintas etapas del músico. Luis Alberto Spinetta fue un vecino destacado de Villa Urquiza durante más de 20 años, donde se mudó en 1989 y allí se quedó hasta su muerte, el 8 de febrero de 2012. Primero fue en la calle Miller y Manuela Pedraza, muy cerca de donde ahora está el boulevard Roberto Goyeneche. Años después se mudó a la calle Iberá al 5000, entre Pacheco y Díaz Colodrero, donde además instaló su estudio de grabación La Diosa Salvaje, título de uno de los temas que había grabado con Spinetta Jade. |
