| Description |
English: Passengers crossing the tracks, Carmarthen railway station. Very unusually for a main line station in the UK, passengers are allowed to cross the tracks here. It is the only way to reach platform 2. The station is a 'dead-end', with a rarely-used inverse-Y shaped set of tracks beyond the level crossing. All trains leave the station the same way they entered. |
