English: Passing Tywyn Wharf. Unusual 2 car DMU service approaching Towyn Station, about to cross under Neptune Road (Ffordd Neifion). Notice the debris on left, and former wharf elevation (with small carriages in background) - these are in grounds of Talyllyn Railway near to the Tywyn Wharf Station.
Towyn or Tywyn ? - some BR literature spelt it Towyn, whilst the timetables of the day (5 May 1975 to 1 May 1976) spelt it Tywyn. The DMU approaching the station about to clear the single-track section under the bridge - Towyn Station having 2 tracks and platforms was the passing point for services.
