Italiano: La spiaggia di foce del Rio Tre Denari è il luogo dove Federico Fellini ha girato la scena finale adella “Dolce Vita” nel 1960. Questa zona è inserita in un territorio caratterizzato dal paesaggio tipico delle bonifiche, solcato da fiumi e canali e votato alla produzione agricola. E' un territorio ricco di presenze storiche e archeologiche come le ville marittime dei romani e le torri di avvistamento. La maggior parte della costa è occupata da costruzioni, stabilimenti, strade che hanno soppiantato l’ambiente originario, caratterizzato dalle dune con la loro tipica vegetazione e dalle foci integre dei diversi corsi d’acqua. Le spiagge e le dune costiere costituiscono ecosistemi estremamente vulnerabili e in pericolo. Nel 1996 è stata istituita la Riserva Naturale Statale del Litorale Romano che nei suoi oltre 140 km di lunghezza include tutta una serie di ambienti naturali scampati all'urbanizzazione: boschi sempreverdi, argini e foci fluviali, dune, zone umide, distese di macchia mediterranea, tratti di Campagna Romana, paesaggi agrari,canali, collettori, idrovore delle grandi bonifiche costiere realizzate a partire dalla fine dell'Ottocento e, assieme ad essi, molti rilevanti siti archeologici ereditati dalla civiltà romana. |
