Summary
editDescriptionPast Railway Track Remains at Bouna Vista in Singapore connecting to Tanjong Pagar - Ypphotography.jpg |
English: This photo was taken back in 2012 when the past railway track remains could still be accessed and seen from above Bouna Vista MRT station when we took the trains to and from the platform. This place was introduced by my photography instructor back then and he showed and guided us the way from Bouna Vista MRT station to the then abandoned and closed-off railway track remains that lead up towards Tanjong Pagar train station.
We were able to access and explore this area upon reaching and we realized that construction works were already ongoing at that point in time to demolish the railway track and as a result, we were only able to explore and take pictures of the railway track towards 1 direction only. To be honest, this was the closest I have ever been to nature in Singapore with thick stretch forest and tall grasses surrounding us during that time hence this was truly an experience and a memory I'll never be able to forget as we got to see for ourselves how the railway track looks like before it was fully demolished and this truly remains as one of the historical moments for us to look back on for many years in Singapore. |
