Description

A glass of Pasvalio Lengvas Alus from microbrewery Pasvalio gėrimai in Pasvalio raj., Lithuania, at Jovaru Šnekutis in Vilnius.

Pasvalio Lengvas Alus is a 5.2% abv traditional beer. It poured a clear Coca Cola brown color with a thin beige head. It had a sweet caramel aroma. Mouthfeel was flat, with a viscous, oily texture. The flavor started out with ripe fruit, a hint of candy sugar and caramel. The fruity character lingered through each sip, ending in a slightly toasted bitterness with notes of toffee in the aftertaste.

This is a very nice dunkel, not that far from a German bock.
