Summary edit

Description
English: A footpath located on a former streetcar right-of-way above the ruins of Sutro Baths, seen in April 2019. The line began as the Sutro Railroad on February 1, 1896, and became part of the United Railroads (later the Market Street Railroad) as the 2-Clement line on March 18, 1902. This private right-of-way ran from Point Lobos Avenue and 48th Avenue to a terminal at Sutro Baths. It was used until February 12, 1949, when the terminal building burned; the San Francisco Municipal Railway cut the line back to 45th Avenue.
