English: According to Jagannath.K.Dange, The education which does not teach equality among its stake holders(students) is a waste. Without equality there would be no all-round development of personality and hence Equality is the key to personality of every learner who gets the education in schools and colleges.

We are dreaming about national integration, development of nation and Nationalism. Equality is the best value of human being, So without the inculcation of equality which is the key for patriotism our dreams would remain the same and they never get realized. Education should develop Patriotism: it should be the prime motto of any Country’s Education system to develop the patriotism among learning community. the curriculum and activities of the classroom of the schools and colleges should be framed in such a manner that they must imbibe the same. The following patriotism model is developed based on the elements of Humanity, Rationality, Equality, Freedom and Fraternity. Humanity: it is the quality of being kind, thoughtful and sympathetic towards others, understanding and kindness towards other people, it’s a natural tendency of an individual to treat others equally and respect. Rationality: it is the quality of being rationale, it is the possession or utilization of rational or logical, reasonableness. It is the state of being agreeable to reason or based on logic. Every country needs to be strong in aspects and it also needs their people to be patriotic in their nature and outlook. Education is a strong weapon to develop patriotism among its stakeholders (Students). According to the above model the patriotism can be developed best through the process. The process may start from the development of rationality among learners so that they can verify the things before learning. Another important component with the rationality is Humanity. It is the consideration of every human being in a kind manner and providing scope for all individuals with ethical, value based and equal pattern. Development of rationality and Humanity leads to the development of Equality. Equality is…… All men are born equal in the sense that all share the same basic human qualities and characteristics. On the other hand, everybody is unique in his own way in terms of intelligence, aptitude, physical abilities etc: Thus, equality is not an empirical generalization about man, but the moral command that every human being has every right to equal opportunity to develop and improve his or her potentiality to the optimum. In spite of individual differences, every individual deserves equal opportunity to live, to learn and to realize his objectives in various endeavours. Equality leads to the development of fraternity and freedom. Fraternity is…. All individuals of a country share the same nationality. In that sense, all are brothers and sisters. This realization of fraternity is the sheet-anchor of democracy. Unless an individual feels that he belongs to the same humanity, S/he cannot feel that fellow-feeling of togetherness which is an important characteristic of democracy. Therefore, there should not be any distinction of caste, colour, creed, language, place or region of birth and residence and sex in the living and development of individuals. Love, affection, co-operation, sympathy and understanding are the natural corollaries to fraternity which are essential for success of democracy. Freedom or Liberty is …. Liberty has regarded as the basic condition for the achievement of excellence in all fields of 'human activities. That is why, freedom is valued very high in democracy. When one talks of freedom, one refers to freedom of thought, action, speech and movement. It is in an atmosphere of freedom that one gets motivated to express himself/herself and to realize his/her full potentialities. The optimum growth of man's personality is possible in an environment of freedom and flexibility. Fraternity and freedom leads to the development of Patriotism. Patriotism: it is the feeling of love your country and loyalty towards it, it is more than any other and also being proud of it. And it is a devotion to one’s country.

Unless there is rationality and Humanity among the members of any country, It’s hard to expect the equality among the members of the country. Unless there is equality on cannot expect the Fraternity and True use of Freedom. Unless there no true usage of freedom and fraternity among the people of any country it would be myth to expect the true patriotism.
