Description

Image de la période soviétique pour inciter les enfants à aller à l'école et non plus à la mosquée

La présence soviétique a mis fin à l'archaïsme dans lequel vivaient les pays d'Asie centrale, elle a fortement limité sinon interdit les pratiques religieuses tout en supprimant le port du voile. Les soviétiques ont envoyé femmes et enfants à l'école. Il faut rappeler que l'esclavage a existé jusqu'en 1920 dans certaines régions d'Ouzbékistan.
